Many AI tools promise 'privacy'. Few can prove it technically. AI·Collab transmits all AI requests with the API parameter data_collection: deny to the routing layer. This parameter is contractually passed on to AI providers.
The result: AI providers are prohibited from storing your prompts and AI outputs or using them for model training — technically enforced and contractually secured, not merely promised.
All data you store (chat histories, uploaded documents, user data, knowledge bases) remains exclusively on German servers (centron.de, ISO 27001). This layer is independent of any setting — it cannot be disabled.
When you query an AI, your prompt is sent to AI providers for processing. With ZDRP enabled, the parameter data_collection: deny is transmitted. Without ZDRP (Free Tier), AI providers may use inputs and outputs for model training per their own terms.
In the Free Tier (without ZDRP), AI providers may use prompts and outputs for model training. This is transparent and deliberately communicated: we do not want to deceive. If you need real Zero Data Retention, the Subscription plan is the right choice.
In your organisation account: Settings → Privacy → Enable ZDRP & enforce EU model routing. Set both options to 'Enforce for all members'. The configuration path is documented in the DPA (Art. 1.3, Annex 1).
With EU routing enabled, all prompts are processed exclusively via Microsoft Azure AI Foundry (Sweden Central, EU). No transfer to third countries (USA). Recommended for particularly sensitive data under Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
